Senior Associate

Matthew joined the firm in October 2020. Prior to joining the firm, Matthew served as General Counsel for Titan Infrastructure Group, LLC, from 2013-2019. Additionally, Matthew served as General Counsel for Patriot Towers, INC, a sister company to Titan. As General Counsel, he provided executive-level counsel. He managed risk and in-house legal matters for both companies during periods of growth by advising across contract negotiations with government and commercial vendors, IT, HR, and corporate governance. Matthew has also advised the companies regarding ownership transition, M&A, and business strategies.  Before joining Titan and Patriot Towers, Matthew practiced as a litigator in Richmond, Virginia, where he operated his own law firm from 2008 – 2013. 

Mr. Adams retired from the Army National Guard in 2017. He enlisted in 1998 and received his Commission as a 2nd Lieutenant after completing Officer Candidate School in 2000. He branched Aviation upon commissioning and graduated from the Aviation Officer Basic Course and Army flight training in 2001.  He served in the Virginia Army National Guard and the Texas Army National Guard. During Operation Noble Eagle (SFOR-10, Bosnia and Herzegovina), he served as a Company Executive Officer for the 2nd Battalion, 224th Aviation Regiment. In January 2006, Major Adams deployed to LSA Anaconda, Iraq, as part of the 36th Combat Aviation Brigade (CAB), where he served as a Company Commander and subsequently as a battalion staff officer. In February 2011, he deployed again to Camp Adder, Iraq as a battalion staff officer for the 2nd Battalion, 224th Aviation Regiment. During this deployment, he served as the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) for the Battalion. Major Adams earned the Senior Aviation Badge with over 1,000 hours of flight time in Army helicopters. His final assignment was as the Aviation Operations Officer for the 29th Infantry Division.
